Brought back so many memoirs. Although I was 10 years earlier and from the east side, Ironville, Been to many of the bars and clubs. Very funny!!! Look forward to the next.

One of the funniest books about rock bands ever! I laughed at loud so many times I got the hiccups. If you want to know what it was like putting together your own band, this is for you. J.D. takes back to the early '70s. You will laugh and cry as you follow J.D. and his determination to be true to himself -- and his music.
Reading this book was like going home. I was raised near Toledo. Our families were so similar it was eerie. Thanks for the memories. I am not a musician but I love music. The story reminded me of Jimmy Buffets book A Pirate Looks at Fifty. Well written and interesting. A little disjointed in places. But a totally enjoyable read for someone from northwest Ohio.
